One thing that I really liked about your build is that I have an older Grizzly saw with a hang out the back motor. All of the OF tables that I see are for cabinet style saws. This seems like a great way to actually hybridize your OF table with one of those cabinet-type OF tables. I really enjoyed this.
Good job on the out feed table. I will keep this in mind. I'm restoring a 1956 craftsman 8" table saw made by Emerson. We got to keep these old girls running! They were made to last!
Nice work but i have a question, can you still tilt the blade without motor hitting the outfeed table?

Awesome modifications, I just recently got a table saw, king seeley it's almost the same but it's the 8" variant. Also when using a pull saw it's easier to saw down instead of up. Looked like you had a hard time cutting with it.

Hey Kyle, Thanks for stopping by my channel . My craftsman tools I have were brought new back in 1970 to 1975 by my parents for me . I was just finishing high school in 1973 . I am 62 years old now.So I have had them long time . Lol I do like my old tools too.No plans to get trade them away now ! They are in good working order . I have the same saw and have a lot of difficulty with keeping the fence parallel to the blade. It seems like the slightest movement knocks it out. I noticed some upgrades to your rip fence. What did you do and has it helped?
I liked ur vid. I used a grinder like that when i was a kid my brother too, he would make me crank it while he ground his bike parts. If that aint a foundation for hard work i dont know what is. Ive been watching videos of table saw accidents and noticed a difference between theirs and your video. You take things back to the basics and their videos are full of expensive equipment. My point is you have probbably bashed your hands enough with hand tools to have become more aware of tool hazards than the weekend hobbyist with a thousand dollar saw with all the bells and whistles. U might have seen the mac gyver episode where macgyver set a bunch of 2x4 blocks in a trough above a table saw and when the bad guys came in he plugged it in and the blocks went flying , confused the bad guys and macgyver got out and well like scooby doo the cops show up etc... anyway judging how ur using ur saw i doubt you'll be making a video of how you cut your fingers on your saw. I' ll probbably make a table kind of like yours cuz i have a sears saw like yours and two iron leaf tables. I think mine needs wheels and a rain roof cuz i dont have much in the way of a shop to speak of.btw in some of the tablesaw videos ive been watching , believe it or not especially in the hack videos or trick and tips videos, some of these guys are NOT using push sticks , using jigs and trusting that the jig isnt going to jam and fly out , and they are wearing their damn WEDDING RINGS!!.
That is a wiz banger of a grinding wheel. I have c clamps just like that but they are new, they still make them.
